About Section 52

With the removal of the section 52 (CDPA) exception, the copyright term for manufactured artistic crafts will increase from 25 years to the full copyright term of the creator’s lifetime plus 70 years. After the removal of this exception, those with 2-D works featuring items such as furniture, wallpaper, fabrics and jewellery, for example, may have to clear additional rights or alert their clients licensing images for publication to do so. This event will provide you with essential advice and solutions to prepare for the removal of s.52.
